BRAIN TRAINING

Boost Your Brain with Targeted Training:

Strengthen Skills and Unlock New Abilities!

Our brain training programs are built on 35+ years of research, testing, and practice, and through research, we’ve identified seven keys to effective brain training.

  • Individual Training Plans

    • At Education 101, LLC every learner receives a custom training plan. Each plan is tailored to the client’s individual needs and goals. We target the exact skills necessary during each training session.

  • Repetition and Practice

    • Practice makes Permanent! To make significant gains, clients need to practice multiple times a week, and training must be sustained for a prescribed period of time. Building new brain skills takes time, perseverance, and continual practice.

  • One-on-One Learning

    • Our brain trainers work one-on-one with clients in order for each client to receive the specific and tailored program needed to strengthen the intended areas of the brain.

  • Step-by-Step Progression

    • Building cognitive skills need to be developed block-by-block. We start by building a strong foundation of core skills and once a client has built a strong platform, more complex exercises are added.

  • Positive Reinforcements

    • Brain training is designed to help clients be their best and strongest self. Brain trainers work very hard to help clients stay motivated, confident, and encouraged throughout the training sessions by providing immediate feedback, a multitude of active training drills, and a focus on accomplishments. Brain training can be fun, yet it will push clients to become their best self!

  • Concentration and Intensity

    • Each training session with an Education 101 trainer is designed as a mental workout and should be challenging, but not overwhelming. Each exercise matches the client’s present skill level.

  • Multi-task Activities

    • The introduction of drills that use multiple skills at the same time is a key component as clients advance in training.  This helps new skills become more automatic and intuitive, and helps the brain build strong internal connections.

What is PACE?

PACE provides thinking and processing skill training, which improves processing speed, memory, visual processing, word attack skills, auditory analysis, logic, and reasoning skills. PACE builds and strengthens the processing skills that are necessary to make learning easier and faster.

How does a processing problem affect a child?

Children want to succeed in school, but struggling with learning while others excel can lead to confusion and frustration. It can have a devastating impact on their self-esteem, making them feel something is wrong with them. Parents may feel uncertain about how to help, despite exploring possible causes.

PACE is a great solution! This program aims to identify and improve deficient processing skills necessary for effective learning. PACE assesses and enhances these skills to ensure proper development. Without these foundational skills, even extensive tutoring may not lead to successful learning outcomes. Students lacking these processing skills often struggle with schoolwork, finding it challenging, discouraging, and frustrating. Such difficulties may lead to disengagement and a sense of mental dropout in these individuals.
